Our Philosophy

 Welcome to TalkKing Speech Therapy Services. Our philosophy is to improve functional communication for every individual through engaging, purposeful therapeutic activities. We create a focused therapy session that builds on individual strengths while addressing weak areas. It is important to us to tailor our services to your needs and address any concerns that you have.


Who We Are

Julie Marzluf, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a licensed speech and language pathologist based in West Allis, Wisconsin. Ms. Marzluf is nationally credentialed through the American Speech and Hearing Association.  Her experience includes providing therapy to children and adults with a service range that includes disorders of articulation, motor speech disorders, phonology, language, autism spectrum disorder, auditory processing deficits, stuttering, and feeding and swallowing difficulties.  She has expertise in stuttering therapy with training through the National Stuttering Foundation, as well as specific training in PECS-Picture Exchange Communication System. Ms. Marzluf is certified to provide therapy using PROPMPT-Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets.  She is also a Distinguished Toastmaster and well-versed in the application of public speaking. Spanish is her second language and she can treat Spanish-speaking individuals.


Ms. Marzluf has worked in the profession of speech pathology for over twenty years, providing speech therapy to preschoolers and school-aged children in the states of  Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Washington.  She has also worked in the private sector in both pediatrics and rehabilitative care at a skilled nursing facility.
